Eclipse PRP for Hair Loss
What is Eclipse PRP?
Eclipse PRP is the latest innovation for hair restoration. Surgical hair restoration is an expensive procedure that does not treat your underlying medical problems. Eclipse PRP, or Platelet-Rich Plasma, is a non-surgical procedure that consists of injections into the scalp of your own platelets.
Platelet-Rich Plasma injections
PRP contains healing growth factors that allow tissue to regenerate and therefore multiply. These injections increase blood supply to hair follicles and also improve thickness.
Am I a candidate for Eclipse PRP?
If you suffer from Androgenic Alopecia or Traction Alopecia contact Dr. Callender to schedule a consultation appointment today.
How long does treatment take?
Eclipse PRP utilizes your own body’s platelets which must be collected before injection. Collecting the platelets usually takes between 10 and 15 minutes. After this, the actual treatment only takes about 3-5 minutes with no downtime.
Do PRP Injections hurt?
Dr. Callender recommends local anesthesia to ensure your comfort during the procedure.
PRP Results and Recovery

Immediately after treatment return home to take a hot shower and shampoo your hair. Do not use any topical preparations for at least 24 hours and do not color your hair for at least 48 hours.
