LightPod Neo Acne Treatment Procedure
Step 1
When you first come to the office, we will sit you down and prep you for the procedure. The area of treatment will be treated with laser light to rid the skin of P. acnes bacteria. By doing so initially, this helps control possible future breakouts.
Step 2
Any current breakouts on the skin will be treated by applying laser energy to the direct area. The laser energy will fall on each visible acne lesion, reducing inflammation which promotes quicker clearance.

How Many LightPod Neo Treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatments varies from person to person depending on many different variables. Some factors include:
- The severity of their current treatment condition
- Lifestyle of the patient
To help control any current breakouts, we recommend undergoing a treatment course of 4-6 sessions. Once the active acne is controlled, some touch-up sessions could be needed to help clear subsequent breakouts.
