What’s Aerolase?
You have surely seen laser treatments work wonders for a variety of things including hair removal, vision correction, and anti-aging treatments, but laser can also be used to fight off cystic acne. How? The Aerolaser laser works to destroy acne-causing bacteria, while also inhibiting the production of sebum and oil to help prevent future breakouts. Additionally, Aerolase also works to produce new collagen which can help reduce the appearance of acne scars.
What is the Process Like?
The Aerolase process is a two-step process and goes as follows:
Step 1: During the first step of Aerolase, we will prep your skin for laser and then treat it with laser light to get rid of acne and future breakouts.
Step 2: During the second phase of Aerolase, we will use laser energy to help treat current breakouts, reduce inflammation, and treat each visible acne lesion.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
It’s hard for us to answer this question because it honestly varies from patient to patient. However, during your initial consultation and after your first treatment, we will be able to give you a better idea of how often you will need to get this done.
