Say “Hey to Protege”
- Posted on: Feb 28 2017
Unless you have 100% come to terms with aging and living the age that you are, you likely aren’t as happy with looking your age as you are with acting it. Luckily, we at Callender Cosmetic and Dermatology Center offer our patients a unique way to help boost collagen production and fill in those fine lines and wrinkles. Read on to learn more.
How Does Protege Work?
As a non-invasive, advanced treatment option, Protege works to disrupt the collagen in the skin which in turn causes new collagen to form, leaving you with a more youthful looking appearance. Used primarily to treat areas of the body like the face and neck, one of the great things about Protege is that it can be used across the entire body— including the abdomen.
Non-Invasive Cosmetic Treatment
As mentioned previously, because Protege is a non-invasive treatment, it can be done in our office in under an hour. One of the best things about Protege is that it is pain-free, which means that there is no need for any topical or local anesthetics. Most patients say that they don’t feel a thing during the entire procedure, but some patients complain that portions of their skin start to feel hot after a period.
Protege Results
If pain-free wasn’t a big enough incentive to get you to come into our office, then the results you achieve will make you want to pick up your phone before this article is over. A few of our patients will notice results fairly quickly after they get their Protege treatment, but most of our patients (80% to be exact) don’t start to see the full results until six months after treatment. Results from Protege are practically permanent. We can’t say that you will never get any more wrinkles because Protege doesn’t slow down your body’s natural aging process but it will get rid of your current lines for good.
