How to Tell If Tattoo Removal Is Right for You
- Posted on: Apr 30 2018
You may have though getting a tattoo when you were drunk, 19, and in Las Vegas was a good idea, but now that you’re a little older, that “good idea” may seem more like regret. Luckily, with tattoo removal from Callender Cosmetic and Dermatology Center, we can help to erase your mistake, so you don’t have to live with the consequences for much longer.
However, as a unique and lengthy treatment process, tattoo removal isn’t for everyone. So, how can you tell if it’s right for you?
You’re Committed
You may not have been committed to getting the tattoo in the first place, but you will want to make sure that you are committed to the removal process itself. Because the tattoo removal process takes several treatment sessions on average for patients to get real results, it’s going to require some serious commitment and dedication on your part.
You Have Realistic Expectations
Just like with any surgery or procedure, we encourage all of our patients to go into tattoo removal with realistic expectations. Remember that you aren’t going to see full results after the first, second, or even third time. And in some instances, we won’t be able to entirely get rid of your tattoo. During your initial consultation and after we start the removal process, we will be able to give you a better idea of what kinds of results you can expect— that way you know from the beginning.
You Are Ready
Are we sick of looking in the mirror to see that tattoo staring back at you? Does it seem like you’ll never be your real self until your tattoo is completely gone? If your tattoo is causing you more grief than joy, then you may be ready for tattoo removal.
